While heading to Southern Texas for the holidays, we stopped at Palo Duro Canyon outside of Amarillo. This is the second largest canyon in the US. It has a lot of red rock and beautiful scenery. We will have to come back here and stay longer so that we can explore the many trails.
Favorite Campsite
We stayed at the Mesquite campground at the end of the road. It was quiet this time of year with only 3 other sites occupied. Of course we had all the comforts of home including our sweet Great Dane Thibadeaux.
